In May 2025 the Research on Research Institute and the Global Research Council published the report Transforming Assessment - The 2025 Global Research Council survey of funder approaches to responsible research assessment. 

The purpose of this report is according to RoRI anf GRC "to provide a comprehensive global perspective on the current state of RRRA within public funding agencies, and support funders on their journeys towards more transparent, inclusive and evidence-informed assessment practices" (from the report).
